Jose Pereppadan CMI (born on 21 October 1946)[1] is a parochial vicar in
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Covington, Kentucky, the United States of
America.

Birth and Education
Jose Pereppadan was born on 21 October
1946. He belongs to Nalukettu parish, under the Archeparchy of Ernakulam-Angamaly,
Kerala, India. He joined the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) and made his
first profession on 16 May 1968 and final profession on 1 January 1970; he
belongs to the CMI Devamatha Province, Thrissur. He was ordained a priest in
the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church on 28 April 1979. [1]
His post-Secondary education includes
degrees in physics, philosophy, and a PhD[2] in Theology from the Catholic
University of Leuven, Belgium.[2]
Later Career
Throughout his life, Jose Pereppadan has
served in several roles such as lecturer of philosophy in the Faculty of
Philosophy, Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram (DVK), Finance Administrator of DVK
(1997-2000), Vicar of St. Chavara Church, Ejipura, Bangalore, India (1997-2003),[3]
and the Assistant Pastor at the Seventh Medical Command, United States’ Army
Hospital in Germany. From 2009 onwards he is serving as a Parochial Vicar in
Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Covington, Kentucky, the United States of
America.
